Welcome! The Wedding Chapel has been serving couples in the Des Moines area for over 12 years, having performed over 1,000 weddings!  Our officiants are interfaith ministers (non-denominational) with whom you can rely on our knowlege and experience!

We are designed for those who wish to forgo traditional church weddings, or want something more memorable than just a simple wedding before a judge.  We believe in the K.I.S.S. (Keep It Simple Sweetie!) method, so we include almost everything you need!  All of the work to plan your wedding is removed because we've already done that for you!  It is the only one of its kind in Des Moines!  

The Wedding Chapel accommodates small weddings up to 30 guests.  It is beautifully decorated in soft colors that will complement any color scheme.  Floral decorations, soft lighting, a candelscreen backdrop and lace curtains provide a lovely setting for any wedding, whether you wish to be formal or informal.

We have several ceremonies to choose from.  You're welcome to write your own vows or add a favorite reading.  The Wedding Chapel is a unique and romantic choice for your wedding! 

Our officiants are also available to perform weddings at locations of your choice, such as in a home, park, hotel, hall or restaurant. 

The Wedding Chapel is shown by appointment, generally evenings and weekends. We invite you to come and see our beautiful facility!
